I'm breaking my own promise of not updating. Mid-terms are stressing me up, but I just noticed that today is the last day of February already, so I thought I'd write something.
Wrapped up my revision a little earlier and decided to take a break. Guess what? I just checked the list of winners for this year's Oscars. "The King's Speech" is the biggest winner so far, if I'm not mistaken.
Surfed through blogs and status updates. You know what pattern I found when I was going through all these sites? People are either gloomy or plain angry. These days I feel like smashing something like glass. Or sleep through troubles and dream that they will solve themselves.
Yeah, a little down lately, but still optimistic. The best thing to do when you're angry or sad is just to lose yourself. Take yourself away (like a takeaway :D) and lose yourself in music, books or anything that you're passionate about. That's why I watched "The King's Speech" and later, "Black Swan" a few weeks ago. That's why I took long breaks from the Internet. Because I knew I needed an escape then. It worked well for me.
Go lose yourself. Do something that you're passionate about. Cry. Yell like nobody's around. Anything. Just let it all out. Everything will sort itself out in the end.
